Exogenous lipoid pneumonia

(Fr: PnP lipidique exogene). Consists in spread of mineral oil in the lower respiratory tract. Stainable lipids can be evidenced in sputum, BAL macrophage, BAL flluid and lung tissue. Can be acute causing ARF (PMID 27372295). See pattern Iag
